Kim graduated from Quinnipiac University School of Law, where she was recognized for her outstanding advocacy on behalf of the disabled. In addition to her law degree, Kim earned a Certificate in Health Law.

​

Following law school, Kim completed a Connecticut Superior Court legal research clerkship assisting trial court judges with legal research and drafting superior court decisions. After her clerkship, Kim joined a nationally recognized defense law firm, where she litigated a variety of cases including dental malpractice, nursing home negligence, insurance coverage disputes, premises liability and professional malpractice.

In 2006, Kim joined the predecessor law firm to Hirsch Andrade, LLP. Since 2006, Kim has exclusively represented those who have been injured as well as their families. 

​

Kim is also a registered nurse and has been licensed to practice in Connecticut since 1994. "My background as a healthcare professional allows me to understand both the technical and the personal aspects of dealing with injuries and illnesses.”

 

Kim has successfully cross-examined doctors, nurses and other medical providers, from a variety of medical specialties, including, neurology, neurosurgery, obstetrics and gynecology, cardiology, hematology, internal medicine, breast cancer, oncology, pediatrics, geriatric medicine, podiatry, radiology, interventional radiology, orthopedic surgery, emergency medicine, osteopathic medicine, chiropractic and infectious disease.
